Lifestyle Change...NEED HELP!
|
|
My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, I haven't ovulated on my own in six years. When I got the fertility work-up done, the results of my blood work came back as being EXTREMELY low in estrogen levels. My doctor said it was due to over exercising which produces stress on the body and has been known to deplete the levels and shut your system down. I have been a "low carber" very active individual for over six years. I will be the first to admit that I haven't always been nice to my body and have expected way too much from it over the years. Long story short...she said that I can only WALK on my treadmill 30 minutes per day and that's it as far as exercise goes until my levels come back up. I know that I need to incorporate more fuits and whole grains into my diet for better nutrition, if I'm going to become pregnant soon, I need to be the healthiest that I can be. I want to start a new diet plan but don't know which is best. I don't want to gain weight and freak out! I'm suppose to start living stress free and am already having a mild stroke due to the fact I can't exercise the way I want. South Beach, Glycemic Index, Bill Philip's, Mediteranian, Mayo Clinic, Clean Eating.....3 meals, 5 meals, 6 meals, No meals...HELP!!!!
