Birth control has a serious effect on your hormones and your hormones in turn control your hair growth and period. I took Depo Provera birth control injection for 5 years and nearly went bald before I figured out it was the Depo. So I am sure it is possible. I would tell your doctor and ask to try a different type of pill or something because the bleeding part is normal with BC, but the hair loss probably will just continue.
