That means the married man is going to keep his wife, rather than divorce her. He wants to keep having his fun with YOU and keep up the look of a "happy family".
He's comfortable with the wife doing what she does at home with the kids and the house, while he also gets a woman on the side.

If he DOES leave her for you, why wouldn't he do the same thing to you?
It's up to you what you do with this guy... but your on the outside looking in--ALONE.
