I have honestly never used Proactiv. I use another line of products. I have really sensitive skin. Once I tried an over the counter acne soap, I don't remember the name, I thought my face was going to fall off. I ended up having to go to the hospital my skin was burned that bad. Now I don't take chances with my skin. I found something that really helps me, without drying my face, or burning it off. I don't know if it will help but check out the following site.
