Well, Partricias, I'm from Jamaica, and you know
we don't listen to nobody. I used the Vicks. It
was used on me and no doubt everyone else.
I know it worked.
I almost never gave my children prescription drugs.
In fact, outside of the injection the Doctor gave her
when she was like fifteen so that the chicken pox wouldn't
scar...It was vicks when she had a cold. Maybe once
a contac C I think they call it.
I have asthma and was treated with ganja tea until
I moved to the city then had to get the inhaler.
And a piritan table if she was stung by a scorpion.
Other stings I used meat tenderiser...it's papain
from pawpaw, which neutralises bee stings, wasp,
ant...
and of course sinkle bible, (aloe vera) for burns
or if anything was in the eye.
btw if I knew you were a Trini I would of had
someone to discuss the World Cups...both the
football and cricket...with.
