I agree with Kayla. Antibiotics should not be so quickly administered to such a small infant. If you are taking your child to a small town doctor or a small town hospital - I would quickly go to a large pediatric hospital and get more reliable care. I almost died and so did my oldest child because I had an emergency c-section in a small town hospital with severe pre-eclampsia and my child was premature - we both were life flighted to a large hospital in the city.
