A lumineer is a trade marked porcelain laminate. It's made with a special reinforced porcelain to allow it to be thinner. It only can be done with a no-prep technique in certain circumstances. As for cost, the average porcelain laminate or luminneer is approximately the same cost as a crown (cap). The materials and laboratory time and fees are virtually the same.
