Hi, I am new to the site and I am a new mom. My 6 mth old daughter has had a cold for 8 days. Saw the Dr last monday. Now it seems to be getting worse. she isn't sleeping, eating less too. The past 2 weeks she has been having 5-7 bowel movements a day but tonight it turned to a really dark, almost black, sticky like stool. Can a virus or teething cause this type of bowel movement?
