i was convicted of battery in 1989. i have since become a pillar in the community. I married a dead beat unemployed drug addict and we had a child. we went to divorce court yesterday, he was granted full custody of my baby age 2, and i was "awarded" 1 hour a week at the dhs office and must complete a psychological evaluation and pay him 89.00 a week in cs. I guess to supply his drug habit. The reason for this ---my prior conviction. What are my options now? Where do i go from here? Do i fight this and if so where?
