I was wondering if anyone else has had this sort of injury? I am 27 years old and in great physical shape. I have had hip pain for the last 18 months, and finally went to the Dr. in January to find out what was causing it. I was sent to an ortho. and had an arthrogram with MRI done. I just got the results and the Dr. said it was a laberal tear. He said I have 2 options: Deal with pain, or have surgery to correct the issue.

Has anyone had this kind of surgery? Did it help? I am really tired of having limited physical activity. Plus I have three kids to keep up with which can be a challenge with my hip pain.

Any advice or expierience would be much appreciated.
