Of course, they behave as if the act of bathing
is torture and run.

The two little ones I still have, Runty and Elections
are easy to catch.

Cricket, my found puppie is another one who decides
whatever it is I am trying to do she will object.

Niblets, the Mike Tyson of dogs...three times I had
to care for a bloody half dead mess of a dog who
can't stay out of fights, happens, however to be
intelligent.

He walked away from me and the treatment and
I said, "Fine, I don't like you anyway."
So stopped, and lay down.

Junie, the mother dog, I don't even bother.
She's totally feral. Eventually while she was
eating I doused her with the remainder in
a bucket.

Petunia actually lay down and allowed me to
bath her.

I don't know where France is, haven't seen
her, so she could have packed up and left.

Denys, the Alpha was another ambush bath.

Oh joy.
Three more weeks of Mange baths.
Kay, I was just reading about your dogs....I am not sure what is funnier, you or all your dogs...Your names for them kills me...And I think you know all of them....I'll bet it is funny with you coming home on your motorcycle and them following you...

We have two dogs...They will soon be 2 years old..This is amazing in itself because in the early going, I didn't think we would keep them this long..Anyone who is thinking of it, don't get twins...Double trouble...But they are so cute now.. Don't ask me why at this later age in life but I gave in to my husband and allowed the dogs...Brand new house and carpeting..We have gone through 3 Spot Bott's...They have the cutest names in the world but too cute to put here so I will call them "The Horrible's". They are birth twins...A boy and a girl and small dogs...Very expensive and from all the things they have gotten into in the 18 months we have had them and surgeries, they are literally worth a small brand new car....But we love them...At least most of the time...They are different colors and despite my misgivings about getting them, we adore them...The girl is brilliant...She now speaks seven languages.....The boy is dumb as a brick...He thinks his purpose in life is to refuse to be trained and hide when we catch him making a mistake...She just looks at him and grins...

Our home is very large and if you saw the two of them stalking each other and playing hide and seek and just being puppies, you would see why we just can't grow old...We have a 50 ft. hallway connecting the master bedroom and the other end of the house where the guest room is and library...This is their race course...We have the Kentucky Derby ran regularly here and life is so much fun...At night they are put in their night cages. These are in the library and not a sound is heard after each opens their door with their nose and goes into their cage to their bedtime treat...Gosh this is fun.......All in all, easier than raising children....

For all you young people, these are the wonderful rewards in life to think about as you age...If I had to do it all over again, I would not have it any other way....TC, C
