Actually Little, i did that to, and found my name to mean warrior and yep i can relate to that one.
I also abbreviate mine now, i like it better.
But what was funny, is the nicknames now that you mention it when i was younger from the family.
Gee, a few freckles so you get called freckles or freck, have none now, or worse your darling grandmother calls you "Fanny" and well you try to explain to her that you don't really like that name....lol....
