I don't think getting a child's EARS pierced is wrong, I wish my mom would have gotten mine done when i was too young to remember. I actually have an appointment for 4:30 tommorrow to get my 19 month old daughters ears pierced. I also did research to find a place that both my fiance and I were comfortable with, I met with a lady two days ago at Carol Visage(they specialize in infant ands kids, and have a special gun that is much safer than the traditional gun)She told me exactly what the do and how things work even going as far as showing me the guns and explaining things to me. As well as answering my questions and concerns. My daughter has clip on dress up earring that she wears all the time constantly asking me to change them or put them back on when the fall off...I think she's going to like them and I was 5 when i had mine done and it wasn't that bad i remember skinned knees hurting for longer.
