I'm a man. I met my wife 27 years ago, she was the first person I dated. I've been with one other woman (before we were married, and while we were broken up for other issues).
I do regret not having more "experiences", but I think that is because I put a misty, hollywood-like face on relationships. I miss the fantasy of having relationships with other women. From observing my friends' experiences though, I don't think I really miss the reality.
