It can be caused by STI but there are MANY other differnt reasons it can be caused by such as miscarriage or abortion , surgery , IUD ect . It can cause long term pelvic pain and is one of the main reasons for infertility and eptopic pregnancy . The actual PID is treatable so you ar not suffering long term or youd just die ...it can cause death if not treated as soon as possible as it is a very serious illness . Most STI are treatable with antibiotics . Unless you have herpes ...which will just return but perhaps not as painful as the first time - ive never had herpes and of course Hiv and Aids niether of which i have . So just to clear this up i do not have sti OR PID and im well and one of the very lucky ladies to be still having regular periods adn no long term after effects of PID such as pelvic pain ect ..

Don't worry about it, believe it or not it was because Lexi posted under (your name) as a reply and i thought she was calling you crazy.

STI, STD, your feelings on the whole issue in general is what i was trying to point out. At least i'm honest.... I didn't read the entirety of the other poster, now i have, my apology.....
Now as I no nothing about your conversations there medically, i'm out of here.
And, i do agree though that you don't start teaching people about your man having anal sex and your doing him a favor pertaining to prostate cancer... ?????
You either like it or you don't i agree there lexi sorry mis-interpretation that no one should be "preaching it " in that fashion.
So, of to another thread i feel...
