Sounds to me like a not bad sort of bloke.
Seems like he had intentions but let them slide as you were both girlfriend and boyfriend at one stage and i'm guessing he doesn't want that anymore, or again, so let it slide after thought, in those few minutes you were gone.
Could have been worse, you could have gone there and then not spoken to you again, now that would have been much worse.
I think when you move on from relationships that is exactly what you, do move on.
Emotions come into play especially for a woman if you get back together for a night, most times as a woman, you expect that you are "back on"..
As i said, i don't think he wanted to re-enter a relationship but obviously recalls the good times that you had together..
Memories are grand... Keep them and keep looking for MR RIGHT....
