Dear A.W.F> I do understand your point and many believe as you do I'm sure. I'm not so certain I gave the impression I was not trying to fix my own problems and have numerated some of the ways in previous posts. I just wanted to mention that in my belief, sometimes God gives us more than we can handle with our own human minds and abilities. Why you might ask? Because sometimes he wants us to use his strength as well. Think of that as a father, you see your child struggle to lift something, they hurt, cry, etc... there is a simple answer they simply do not have it in them at that particular place in their life to handle that task, or the mind to think it through. So, God either directly helps himself, or in some cases sends someone to help that has those abilities through life experience or maturity or whatever.
Perhaps one day because of your life experiences someone will need your encouragement and help in a way where they simply help, give resources etc... and there are other times you might just simply realize that you are not the best suited to supply their "actual" need, nor are you in the place of honor or friendship in their life that discipline talk, or debate helps - especially if the person is in some state that is similar to a child - as in they are helpless in themselves to solve certain aspects of a problem.
I am certain when your family hurts or a child on the street is about to get hit by a stray ball you would stand and watch that happen, you would reach out to help either directly or indirectly, but rarely with a loved one or anyone else in a place of shock would you "give them a talking to" or "I told you so." I mean, by still thinking of this person as a father and child or any father and any child if he is a loving father.
Perhaps this should be the end of our threads and change to new topic or same in another thread. This was not meant as a debate for religion, this was meant as a request for those who believe as I do to come along side me to encourage me through their practicing prayer with me about my ups and downs of life's very severe seasons right now.
Miss U.
