Amber,

My heart goes out to you. I've been there - a cpl of times now. There are a zillion strains of HPV - some cause warts and some don't. Some lead to cancer, some don't. It's usually the low-grade strains that cause warts. I think your doc is prob. saying that your pap was abnormal but not severly abnormal. There's a range. It's common to wait 3 mo. and do another pap just to see what's going on if it's low-grade. Plz talk with your doc and ask, tell him/her your concerns, etc. so you have peace of mind. Mine was high grade both times and so we didn't wait 3 mo. - that's why I'm guessing yours is low-grade, but plz talk with your doc,k. Hang in there and take care.

Also, stress does play a key factor so if at all possible get your stress level down,k. Oh and, HPV can lie dormant for many years and then stress can bring it out. So, just b/c you haven't been with a man in a few years doesn't necessarily mean anything.

It is possible for your body to rid itself of the virus by lowering your stress level, quitting smoking (if you do smoke), taking folic acid is good and Vit.B and Vit.C helps, too. Hope this all makes sense and helps.

Hugs,
Delta
