Being independent i think is great, you are your own person at the end of the day, and hobbies are essential to be unique and individual.

Being a wife, does not mean being a maid, we live in a different world whereby we all work, to support a "family" and i agree... It should be a "shared" scenario if both partners are working.

Not cooking at all? Well, what do you eat? Don't you cook for yourself?

I don't like rosters, today's your turn, tomorrow's mine, but i do think that still constitutes "sharing" and giving just as much as emotional giving....
