Unfortunately, most "high school age" relationships fall apart. Not because you don't love each other, but because people change, intrinsically, and quickly during those years.
Do you have friends where your dad lives? How about where your mom lives? Have you already started high school? It can be hard to find a new group of friends if you move right in the middle of things.
Enjoy your time as a teenager and enjoy your space. If it's meant to be, you'll endure the distance. You don't say where you live in comparison to Missouri; maybe you can visit him often, since he does live near your mother?
Don't let any outside person control where you go. It's not worth the trouble.
