Why can't you stay with your Mother 6 Months and Father 6 months, in other words experience being with both parents over those few years, as they are the people that will be with you for "life", anyone else is a 50/50 chance.

Perhaps you can expand and make new friends in addition by doing this, whilst learning and growing in yourself, to be an independent person and you still get to see the boyfriend whilst as Little said " enduring a long distant relationship ", because if it lasts, then you also know it has a chance of lasting a lifetime.
