So unless you work with your 'eye' a lot (like a carpenter, artist, graphic designer, draftsperson etc. I work as a product designer so I know that it takes a lot of time and practice to develop an accurate eye), I'm suspicious of a lot of claims.
We're living in an increasingly penis-size-centric culture (you've seen the ads). Usually on this forum I have read women consoling some guy or bragging to each other or whatever, but thats not my point. I'm not trying to call women liars or being defensive about my own size (I've read the statistical data and I'm perfectly happy ), I just think it would be healthy to be aware of the potential inaccuracy of human perception. Also, for both women and men it's a matter of self-awareness of how we can conflate things in the moment and in our memory.
So, for those of you who care to share, did you take a ruler to him?

I'm a guy, and yes, I agree. There's a lot of hopeful guestimation goes on with the ladies here, very little of which I believe. But then, guys will brag or automatically overestimate their women in things, so it's all even. Just don't take the sizes women give seriously, you can usually take off an inch or two.
