My procedure was done in Chicago. I got a recommendation from another doctor so I figured that had to count for something. Do your homework there and get a few recommendations. I was awake throughout the entire procedure and it wasn't all that bad. I remember that the doc gave me shots to numb the pain and truthfully, that was the only pain involved. If you can stand getting shots, hey, worth it I'd say.
I think the entire procedure probably took about an hour? I had to wear a compression garment for about a week or so and no one can see that so it was no big deal. Truthfully, I'd do it again in a heartbeat but I think it's pointless unless you have an area of the body that is way out of proportion or something. You will gain weight and it will now go to another area of your body. I now have a larger belly then I ever had and I hate that. I thought ok...time to get this removed but then I'd have to deal with whatever other part of my body that gains weight next. I'm sure it will be my thighs cuz I tend to see them gain a bit when I eat more then I should. Oh one other plus was that my breasts gained a bit so that was nice....a natural pumping up there is never a bad thing is it? Any other questions, I'd be happy to answer if I can. I've always wondered...if a person keeps doing lipo and keeps getting rid of more and more body fat, what happens then....I guess you could end up with back fat and fat in a lot of weird places.
