Yes, it is normal. There will be times in your life when your cycles change. It could be a long term change or it could just be something short lived that was brought on by stress or common illness. It is most likely that you have either been stressed about something or you have just had a natural hormone fluctuation. Give it some time and see how the next few months go.

It is not usually a sign of pregnancy. There are some women out there who will continue to have their period like normal even while pregnant, but on average... most women stop their period completely.

If you are worried about being pregnant, it never hurts to take a preg test.
