Care to share the name of the book? My daughter will be 9 in April. We have breifly discussed it a bit. I was taking a nice hot bath one night, complete with bubbles and wine when she comes in and plants herself on the toilet to "talk". She started asking me about my pubic hair, why I shave, and why my bottom looks different than hers. Completely unprepared for this discussion, I had to think quick and told her that as she matures, her body will change and grow to look just like mine. She asked about the period thing too and I tried to explain it to her. It has apparently appeased her for now, but I've noticed that her boobs are starting to develop. I starting my period at 10 years, so I want to start preparing her so she doesn't freak out.
