went to the dentist today. he said the only thing that would do that to my gums is that the barrier they put on the gums wasn't strong enough and the light is only meant to hit the teeth. he couldn't believe how bad it looked. he took pictures and is contacting the zoom company to see what they are doing about it. the hygenist applied the barrier very well so he thinks there must be a problem with the product- either the barrier or the light. he isn't doing any more zooms until he gets to the bottom of this. he did say it will heal though which is a relief. he said if it was the bleach itself then all my gums would be burned.
