Proactol (from what I have read after looking into proactol) is Nopal cactus with the scientific name (Neopuntia). Nopal cactus is a natural fat binder. You can buy it at the health food store for $15-20 a bottle and it will work the same as Proactol. I've found that for me the best supplement regimen has been Irwin Naturals triple tea fat burner (One in morning, one at noon) CLA tonalin (one morning, noon, night), Hoodia (2 mid morning, 2 mid afternoon, Flax seed oil (noon, and night), Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar 2tablespoons in shot glass (morning, noon and night) with a good multivitamin/mineral/antioxidant blend at night. I also have the nopal cactus and take 2 when I eat anything with more fat that I would like to ingest... This said, I have lost 13lbs for january and it was a very stubborn 13 lbs. I probably would have only lost half of it without the supplements as I do work out daily and have a 1500 calorie diet. I do believe they are aiding in my weight loss. Hope that info might help somebody...
