Does anyone have issues with protein? I'm ok with my diet, but I find myself dreading the protein. I don't like dark meats so I use turky on a sandwhich each day (my diet is very bland and the same each day...but it works). What are some other forms of protein that people have found useful? And DON'T say tuna!! lol...I can't eat that stuff every single day.
Thats true, Fiber One bars are great, but you can get ones called Fiber One Plus Antioxidants for only 120 cals and still get your 35% daily value of fiber, minus almost half the cals. And as for the sandwhich... try grilled chicken with a side of veggies instead, and spruce it up with some lime. Even the leanest breads are full of sugar and carbs, and won't keep you filled up for more than 30 mins, and cause a energy crash. Plus, most lunch meats out there are highly processed and full of fats. You're best bet is lean meats like certain cuts of steak, tilapia, flounder, and skinless turkey and chicken breast. A good idea for a filling, low calories snack is a handful of nuts. 1 serving of unsalted planters peanuts is only 170 calories and it keeps you feeling full by providing protein and essential Omega-3's, which unlike regular fats can lower your blood pressure.
