i love white rice is that good ?
-Not really, white rice is basically pure carbs and empty calories. I happen to love white rice too, but try switching to brown rice and throwing some broccoli in the mix, and just using a pinch of salt as seasoning. Look for rice that has not been refined.

i heard un buttered popcorn is a good snack?
-Yes, its high in fiber and low in calories DEPENDING on the brand. Read the nutrition label before you purchase and compare with other brands.

i cant drink milk (lactose intolerant which is bad cuz i love cheese
if eat or drink to much i get itchy over my hole body like a invisible rash and it drives me insane until i take some Benadryl)
-Try soymilk, it is lactose free, and if you get the vitamin enriched you can get all the benefits of milk with less calories.

so.. i eat sherburt instead of ice cream , is that healthy if i eat 1 cup once in a while?
-Sherbet is much better for you than ice cream, so yes.

what about special K cereal , to me it taste like rice crispies what kind of cereal is good for break fast?
-Kroger makes a line of cereals such as Kroger brand fruit loops, corn flakes, and raisin bran that have 120 cals or less per serving and make an excellent and tasty breakfast. Look at the nutrition facts for high fiber and protein which will fill you up longer. A good breakfast would consist of a low-fat yogurt and half a grapefruit, or a bowl of cereal and half a grapefriut, or half a bagel with a tablespoon of peanut butter with half a grapefruit. If you can don't add salt or sugar to your grapefruit.

someone said banana's are good in potassium but are fattening?
-Yes and no. As far as fruits go, bananas are fattening, containing 105 calories for a medium sized banana and they are very starchy (lots of carbs). However, these are complex carbs, so are muuuuuch better for you than regular carbs, and help get rid of carb cravings. They are also a great source of soluble and insoluble fiber so they'll keep you full. To enhance the health benefits and filling effects of a banana while making them sweeter, try freezing them. It makes a great substitute for a popsicle.

somene els said to eat eggs but only the white what is wrong with the yoke?
-The yoke has lots of saturated fats and cholesterol. Eating just the whites gives you the same nutrients and takes away a good deal of calories.

i Love oatmeal is that good
-Certain brands. Whole wheat low-fat oatmeal would make a great breakfast along with a 1/2 grapefruit (or a whole if you like them). High fiber oatmeals will keep you full and can be nutritious when chosen properly.

how about corn muffins with 1 tsp of butter on top are those good
(jiffy brand you have to bake)
-As an occasional indulgence they're fine. Try replacing butter with a carrot slice or a different veggie. And makes sure to use a whole wheat mix (not whole grain, its not the same thing).

has anyone tried those bite sized Quaker rice cakes flavored i like the cheddar and the Carmel ones' u can get the full cakes or the bite sized im not sure if they are good to eat cuz they taste good lol
(and for sure as the first time i got a bag i had not ate dinner and ate the hole bag , cant be good )
-They are an excellent alternative to potato chips. And its not bad as long as you got the nutrients you needed or take a multi-vitamin.

i read that breads and pasta's are bad ? i dont like either much but why?
-Many have refined flour, essentially making them highly fattening and lacking vitamins and minerals. If you chose whole wheat and stick to healthy portions cooked in healthy ways then you need not feel guilty.

also someone said if u cook something like eggs or hash browns its not the food but what u cook in , oil or olive oil or corn oil, or butter what am i suppose to use to cook in ?
-It is certainly the food, but cooking things in olive oil is better for you in most cases. After a certain temperature olive oil is just as bad as butter. However, olive oil is better for you, despite containing the same amount of calories because it has omega-3 fatty oils instead of saturated fats, making it more hearth healthy.

i understand that exercise a lone will not do it all i have to start eating the right foods at the right time.
-Not necessarily. If you exercise enough to burn more calories than your consuming you don't have to worry to much. But exercising that much is pretty unreasonable. Find a combination of exercising and healthy eating that works for you.

the website for ultra one ( that i have read is not healthy wont help and u might gain weight (may or may not work i dont know as i have not used it nor will i , am not saying anything bad against the product or the producers) its just what i have read
they said you should not eat at least 3 hours before bed time and to drink a glass of water instead , now i know that if u eat before bed u can have problems with digesting and acid reflux and your body is not doing anything to use that energy up and its not necessary. is that a good idea?
-Yes, generally it is recommended to stop eating at 7. However, if you haven't met your daily caloric needs, eating at night is just fine.

i read another work out plan i forgot which one i think hip hop abs maybe? but they said to get up and after 30 minutes of being a wake to work out before you eat breakfast.
-No, exercising in the afternoon is best. Get plenty of sleep, eat a big breakfast (it should always be the biggest meal of the day as it speeds up your metabolism for the rest of the day depending on what you eat), and exercise before the evening which is when your metabolism naturally slows down.

also how much am i suppose to eat each time ? i have no idea how to count calories or have portion control
-I agree, it's hard to tell. Always read the nutrition facts and pay special attention to the serving sizes. Eating out is tricky, so order a water or some tea, sip it often while eating, and chew slowly and thoroughly. Allow yourself to enjoy the food. It takes a long time to realize your full, so don't rush. Simply stop when your full and try to make calorie conscious choices. If your unsure or want to order something that seem fattening, order it in children's portions. If your still hungry, thats fine, you can have a desert! Just don't go overboard on that.

one guy i was talking to a few years ago before he died (Rest his good soul)
said i should eat standing up its better , is that true?
-Well, you burn more calories standing than sitting. So in that regard yes. But eating should be a time where you enjoy yourself, concentrate on the food, and eat slowly to savor every bite. So however YOU feel more comfortable is the best way.

sorry i have to many questions

gabby
I hope that helps!
