I'm in a similar struggle. I find that drinking plenty of water (which you're doing) cutting back on salt and carb intake (which is very hard indeed) and working out about 30 mins a day really helps. I've been at it for about a month now and am just now finally starting to see a bit of results. I think the main trick is just to eat healthy and get at least 20mins of physical activity every day. (I use cleaning my house as a work out on the days where I don't feel like peddling a bike. Going for a nice long walk helps too, and is nice and relaxing, my dog loves it too haha.)
