I remember hearing about that diet back when I worked in a doctor's office. You don't eat once per day .. you are rather limited to a certain kind of food per day. It's called a cabbage diet because there's this recipe for cabbage soup that you can eat at any time during the diet that's supposed to boost your weight loss.
Most of the girls attempted it and while they did lose some weight, it wasn't as much as the diet advertised. I'll do some googling to see if I can find it .. it's not unhealthy from what I remember.
