My school schedule is this : Monday-Friday 1:30pm-9pm. so it's what, 37.5 hours? Close enough to be considered 40. Im going to be working 7am-1pm Monday to Friday as well, and a shift and a half on weekends.

It's a trade school, the classes and hours are set, it's a 51week school, and there's nothing I can do to change them. The only hours I may have control over is my work, and he doesn't want part timers...so if this doesn't work out, I'll be looking for another job.
