Some of the weight loss properties of green tea are in the caffeine ... not all but some. There's also hot water that has some weight-loss-boosting elements when taken 30 minutes before a meal (as well as plain water).

So if you're looking into the oolong or wu-yi stuff ... try any herbal tea. You'll reap similar benefits, only a lot cheaper and safer.
