Recovering from surgery is always hard, but then you still have to recover from being forced to lay down a lot.

Here's a suggestion, just grab some light dumbells (2 lbs or 5 lbs) and do some excersizes with them. DON'T expect it to be a long workout session at first. Remember you're body wasn't able to do excersizes for quite a long time. Time your sessions and maybe try pushing yourself past your last time by 30 secs-1 min.

If you feel very weak, take some time off and don't over do it. It's a slow pace at first, but after about a month of doing it, it will become part of your routine and you'll be surprised as to how fast your body will start adjusting to the new schedule!
