Hi Missarb,
CW is very right when it comes to diet pills. Sometimes I think these pills work mainly on the placebo effect. Some of them, like Alli, have been approved by the FDA, BUT they still have some unpleasant side effects. Basically, if you take in too many fat grams, then.....you'll be rushing to go to the bathroom! Would you really want to feel that way anytime you eat over your daily required fat gram intake??? Sounds good, but even good fat found in veggies could consitute an unpleasant side effect.
I would definately try a diet that has mainly veggies in it. I know, I know, most people don't like those, but you'd be surprised as to how quick you will see the results. A good way to determine if you're eating well is to look at your plate. A well-maintained diet should have very colorful plates. And, of course, your plate should have mostly veggies on it.
I may only be telling you what you've heard before, but nothing beats old fashioned diet and excersize. I'm a mom as well and one of the things I had to do was change the way I ate, and in return I found that I had more energy to play with my kids AND my complexion looked a ton better.
I wish there was some magic pill out there that just took all the fat away!!! But, we live in reality, so until fantasy becomes truth, I'll keep excersizing and eating well.
I wish you the best!
