I did the whole need to lose weight for summer, for this party, for this dance, for this date, for this new pair of jeans yo yo crash dieting my entire teen years and turned my metabolism to rubbish. I pack on so many pounds in my 20s that seemed impossible to move. After re-adjusting my thoughts about food and exercise I was able to lose the weight finally.
But please re-consider doing anything crazy to fit in a bikini in a month, it won't benefit you in the long run. There are safe and effective ways to lose a couple pounds of week, which for most people is a safe and attainable amount to lose. Like WC says, eat less, move more and consider your health as much as the drive for summer hotness
