hi i hope someone can shed a little light on this for me.

my wife litterly overnight changed into a very moody person she is 42 and had a partial hysterectomy about 5 years ago.her normal attitude is usually pretty passive and she is usually pretty affectionate.but for about the last 4 months sexual contact is almost 0 and i seem to be getting in trouble for almost every little thing including stuff that happens at her work.i have put on other posts about the whole sex thing and someone suggested it could be the start of meopause.so the help i am looking for is first off is it possible at 42 for this to happen and any advise on a good way to appraoch her on this would be great.i am trying to be patient but it is hard to deal with and i am just looking for clues as to what is going on. just a little example saturday she was upset because the grass was long and i hadnt cut it yet i cut it later that day and then she was mad because some of it went into her garden wich by the way has no flowers in it yet.
