hi everyone, my son has incredibly sensitive skin... i am really struggling to get him good hardwearing clothes that are also hypoallergenic...
the problem is i dont want him to grow up thinking hes 'different' so id love them to look 'normal' like the classic gap model ive found a bunch but none of them seem to be from hypoallergenic companies etc.
does anyone else have a child with a similar issue? i just need materials as pure as possible to give him the best chance of not being all rashy...
can anyone recommend any stores/sites etc?? dont mind ordering online ive measuerd him up specially for the occasion!
thanks in advance, really stuck here

Hypoallergenic is a kind of a made up term. There's nothing that guarantees you won't be allergic. It just means it's free of some of the common allergens. Have you identified what your son is reacting to? It would really save a lot of time and money for you in the long run (believe me I speak from experience!) if you just get testing.

As for an immediate solution, a friend of mine sews a thin lining of cotton into things she just can't live without fashion-wise.

is there the possiblity of him wearing something under his clothes, like a pair of long johns... at least for winter it wouldn't be too hot, some hypo allergenic (or some material that doesn't cause him rashes) long underwear that he could wear under regular pants?
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.
