does any one have any information regarding MSG related allergies and symptoms?

I'm 3 generation Japanese. My family uses a lot of ajinomoto (Japanese MSG). There is always a shaker of ajinomoto on the table and all my family uses it on a large variety of foods. Most of our friends do the same. I have never known of anyone that has had a reaction to ajinomoto. This is not to say it don't happen to some people, there are a few people that are hypersensitive to almost food product you can name.
The case against MSG is based on aneedotal evidence. Google "fda backgrounder: fda and monosodium glutamate" for more information.
Zen is more of an attitude than a belief.
