Question HELP!

Hello All!

I am 24 years old and up until 2 months ago, I had never worn make up. I bought a foundation from MAC and have had no problems with it. About 3-4 days ago, I used a facial wash that came in as a sample by philosophy and my skin glowed! But the next day I woke to find dry patches of skin in the lower part of my face; the area that surrounds my mouth. I figured that it just dried out my skin (I have very dry skin) so I put some of my moisturizer. The next day I noticed that the dryness had gotten worse and now i have small red patches on my jawline and I have small bumps in the same area surrounding my mouth.

It is now Thursday, and I am going out this weekend. Does anyone have any idea of what the issue is? Is it dry winter skin? Allergic reaction?

HELP!
