Question of the month.
I would just like to cover a question that seems to get asked over and over again.

Q. Why is my period late, early, or just different then normal?

A. Menstrual cycles are not meant to be like clock work throughout your entire lives. There will be times that they are late, early, short, long, spotting, or non existant and it is all very normal. You will also sometimes get new symptoms you haven't experienced before. These events are called "irregular periods" and are common in almost every woman at some point in time. This happens due to simple things such as stress, bad diet, too little or too much exercize, illness, and natural hormone fluctuations. In most cases, you just need to give your cycle some time to balance back out again. For those who's cycles do not balance back out after a few months, you may need to consider birth control as a means to regulate your cycles.

Minor difficulties in January
We want to thank all of you who may have experienced some issues with message posting in January for being patient with us and reporting the issues. We changed servers in order to speed up your browsing, but it unfortunately created a few small bugs. The bugs have been fixed since then, but just know that we are always working to improve your Women's-Health experience!

Book or Video Club?
We had an idea we want to run by you. How would you ladies like a book and/or video club similar to the one Oprah Winfrey has? It would be a new category dedicated to sharing good books and talking about recent reads. Would you use it? Let us know here.

We Want Your Opinion!
We built this site for YOU so please tell us what you like about this site, what you would like to change, or any suggestions you may have. Anything big or small, we want to know about it! We have created a forum near the top of the support boards titled "WH Feedback" just for you. Please share your thoughts there.
