    Tip of the Month
Use your hair conditioner to shave your legs. It's a lot cheaper then shaving cream and leaves your legs really smooth. It's also a great way to use up the conditioner you bought, but didn't like when you tried it on your hair.

Another alternative is to use men's shaving cream (Colgate). A bottle of men's Colgate shaving cream is nearly 50% cheaper then the average women's shaving cream and it works just as good! If it doesn't smell girly enough, just use your usual body lotion after you shave and it will leave you smelling feminine.

    Question of the Month
I would just like to cover a question that seems to get asked over and over again.

    Q. During my period, I have been passing large dark clots! Is there something wrong?

    A. It is normal for women to pass thick clumps of tissue during menstrual cycles. These clumps are NOT blood clots and nothing to worry about. They are, in fact, clumps of the uterine lining tissue which is shed during the period. Your hormones determine how thick your uterine lining will be each month. The thicker the lining, the more clumps you will have and the bigger they will be. I can see that you might confuse these with blood clots, but trust me, they are not. I personally took this question up with a gynecologist.

So, if you have these clumps during your period, don't worry about it. It's normal! Annnnnd.... some months you might have them and some you might not. The fluctuating is not an indication of a problem.

What would make your visits better?
We have been constantly brainstorming and researching new ways to make your visits to Womens-Health.com funner and more interesting. I feel that the best way to do this is by asking YOU what you would like. So here are some ideas. Let me know what you think and feel free to make your own suggestions! Just send me an email (reply to this one) or leave your feedback in our forums.

    1. How would you feel about us adding some games to the site? Say some little arcade games or things of that nature?

    2. If you had more options to make your profile more "personal", would you do it? Say something like your own blog/diary?

    3. More awards and incentives for community members to contribute to our site. (we are working on this one at the moment)
