I have bags under my eyes so i ice then, but that doesnt get rid of the dark circles. I have tried treatment. My question is does any one have a good way to reduce or get rid of the circles. Maybe a product or home remidey.

I've collected quite a few tips from magazines and stuff...
hope at least one of them will help!
- If you get cream or gels for undereye circles, choose the ones that include vitamin K, kojic acid and hydroquinone in their ingredients.
Vitamin K has been shown to inhibit bruising. Doctor's believe it helps to counteract dark shadows caused by too much blood flow and "bruising" under the eye.
Kojic acid and hydroquinone are skin-lightening agents, which are found in bleaching and age-spot creams.
It sounds more complicated than it is, most of the creams on the market combine these ingredients to both firm and treat the dark areas under the eyes. A lot of high end companies such as Estee Lauder and Lancome carry these type, but are expensive. You may want to try out the Neutrogena skin care line, a little less pricey and easier to find in drug stores. Neutrogena still isn't "cheap", but quite a bit less than the other ones, and I think they carry a good line of products.
- To lighten dark circles under your eyes, wrap a grated raw potato in cheesecloth and apply to eyelids for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Do this regularly.
- To reduce swelling and for bags under the eyes, brew a cup of strong rosehip tea. Soak 2 cotton balls in the tea or use 2 tea bags, lie down and place over the eyes.
- For dark cirles, cut a fresh fig in half, place a half over each eye
- Combine 1/2 teaspoon of fast-acting baker's yeast with one teaspoon of whole yogurt (Not low-fat and not flavored). Dot under the eyes with a clean eyeshadow brush. Let it dry and go to bed with it on. Rinse well in the morning. This solution will give oxygen to the skin overnight and diminish the dark circles.
- For eye puffiness, any tea bag (herbal is better, especially eyebright), slightly cooled, placed on the eyes while you rest...
- use a concealer with an orange-ish tone
thank you those sound usefull i will try them right away

I have same problem, except I'm very pale and my eyes tend to droop down too so looks even worse, means much worse. I often wears sunglasses to hide it but as a physician this becomes tough. I think it scares patients as well. What to do?
Something to look at that most people dont take into consideration is that dark circles can be caused by having a Vitamin deficiency that can be tested by a simple blood test and treated with regular vitamins.
Another tip for puffy eyes and dark circles is to take 2 Tea bags get the bags damp and put them in the freezer for about 5 min and place them on your eyes untill it melts... if it needs a little more water add some and then repeat all steps. If your eyes are really puffy repeat about 3 or 4 times... it is so soothing to lay down and have them on your eyes. The tea bags need to have caffiene in them since its the caffiene that does the job.
Start with a good eye cream. I like this one La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Eyes (Anti Puff Rehydration) at DermStore. Then, use a concealer to help take care of any dark circles and make your eyes look great.

I bags that are not directly under my eyes, there actually closer to my nasal orbital folds. I have seen a plastic surgeon about this because it's different. The plastic surgeon suggested a dermal filler. Does anyone have any suggestions that could help me avoid taking such a drastic measure to help with this problem.
I have dark undereye circles too. Also I have really fair light skin so it really shows. It runs in my family I think. As for me I use hylexin by bremenn research labs it's $95.00. It works for but maybe not for everyone. It is cosmetic so it only works while using it but it makes a difference for me. This is the biggest investment I make in the products I use. It lasts for about 7-8 months. The cheaper ones might work for other people but not for me.
Hey one other thing that helps is that I use a self-tanner on my face and neck but not on the eye area. Just a really light one, maybe one to two times a week if even that. It helps even the tone and color. Most of the other stuff I use is organic but for this I don't.
Well I hope you find something that works for you. I think this subject is not a one size fits all, it's what works for you.
Goodluck!
