Thread: I'm 17 and my breasts get me too many comments

Like others have said, in high school people will find infinite reasons to criticize and ridicule each other, so even if you had smaller boobs people would still make fun of you for something. So, just be proud of the great things you've been blessed with - a great body, intellect, friends, caring family, etc. and don't worry about those who are just jealous or trying to make themselves feel less insecure.

I never had big boobs when I was younger but I did develop earlier than most... I remember when I first started wearing a bra; I was so insecure and uncomfortable because I was pretty much the only one with anything protruding out of my shirt, lol. One guy came up to me and started chanting "over the shoulder boulder holder!" I was so petrified that I came home and threw off my bra and start wearing tight sports bras from then on. Now of course, I try to get my boobs to protrude as MUCH as possible, hehe. Things change fast, our perspectives change very rapidly and in only a few years you'll be very happily showing it off and grateful that you have such good genes.

Bras do go up to an F.

There is a specialty shop for women where I live that sells bras up to size M. AA - M. So let's assume that breasts come in many sizes that some of us aren't even aware of.

It's unfortunate that you are going through this. I have a fifteen year old sophomore daughter who is 6' 2" tall in bare feet, large busted like her mother, has big feet (size 12), carries more weight than she should and can lift weights and punch like most boys her age can only dream about. Fortunately for her and despite all of the abuse that she takes for one or all of the above mentioned attributes, she could care less what others say about her.

At times, it has been very difficult and I have experienced the tears first hand from many comments that came from kids she thought were her friends.

All I can say to you, is what I said to my own....What doesn't kill you, even though it's cruel, makes you stronger. High School is merely a blip on the screen of life, so do your best to enjoy it while staying firmly focused on your future.
