Default Hair Cut? Please Help!!

I'm getting my hair cut, and my hair is like mildly wavy- not really- more straight i guess. But i really want my hair kind of like Vanessa hudgens, how it's curly and then her bangs. I'm not really educated in hair stuff, so does anyone know how to make my hair like curly, like Vanessa Hudgens, do i need like a perm or something? lol. please answer (:

Lilly,
Its just a matter of getting the right product. I use salon quality stuff...because I have SUPER wavy/curly hair.
I found that using a shampoo and conditioner FOR curly/wavy hair helps, then let your hair naturally dry...until its about...80% dry...then if you want, blowdry the rest...or put in velcro curlers...and use a curl defining cream with a smoothing cream infused into it.

hi...to get this look, use volumizing shampoo and conditioner....u also want to make should that the products you are using are volumizing and light......u dont need to use any products that are for curls.....these products do not make ur hair curly....it only works on curly hair......so what ur gona want to do is blow dry ur hair until it is 75 to 80 percent dry (make sure you are going with the hair so that u close the cuticle layer). then use a large barrel round brush. take sections the length and width of the bristle area of the brush, blowdry the hair up for volume and hieght.....make sure to keep twisting the brush until it is dry, then continue to twist the brush for about 20 seconds for the hair to cool. then bring the hair down and twist the brush out as if unwinding it out of the hair. do this all over the head........when ur doe blowdrying, use a shine serum (only a drop) rub into the palm of ur hands, then pull through the hair to relax the set and add shine and remove frizzies. finish by light misting a light hold hairspray....do not over spray cause it will way down ur hair....if u have any questions let me know
