Default Attention Liquid Eyeliner Pros!

I don't wear a whole lot of makeup; just a smudge of eyeliner at the outer corners of my eyes and along the inside rims, and mascara--pretty basic. I like how liquid eyeliner looks, especially the way women "flair" it out (like how the singer Katy Perry does hers ) Every time I try to apply liquid eyeliner, it looks like I have missed spots along my lashline, and no matter what I do to fix it, I just end up making a mess of my eyelashes and getting fed up.

Any tips from the pros out there for troubleshooting, and what brands of liquid eyeliner work best?

I love eyeliner and wing tips are my favorite! Liquid eyeliner however imo is a pain to use. The brush tip doesn't work for creating the wing tip. There are some liners with felt tips which work better. I think telescopic is one that has a felt tip.

If you are really looking at achieving the Katy Perry look, you might like a gel liner better like mac fluidline. you apply it with an angled brush. example mac 266. you can certainly find something similar at the drug store. But that kind of brush would help you achieve the look you want. It does take practice gotta warn ya. But at least you are headed in the right direction!

As well with the gel. If you make a mistake you can wipe it off and fix it untill it dries.. then its set! Loreal Hip also has a gel liner as well in their collection that works pretty good. but the brush that comes with it is junk so dont try to learn with it!

there are also some great wing eyeliner tutorials on you tube as well...

Hope that helped!

It is really hard to get a perfect line and gel liners and liquid I find to be the hardest. But what I do is pull the corner of my eye to make my eye slanted and that gives me much more control over the product and I have more control to make the line more defined and no spots. Good Luck this is usually a task we all eventually master ;-)
