    Cool rockabilly boufant style hair?

does anyone know how to get the boufant style hair, without back combing and teasing the carp out of your hair. i used to do it in my teens/twenties but my hair was a lot more resilient than my 45 year old coloured hair is now.

is there any special technique, clips or tips that you wise wonderful women could pass on to me?

    thanks

    Ello, good night

I think, large foam rollers and dry it off will give the ompth... you want, but I can't see that you won't be teezing the roots, but at least not so much the ends, which is the bits that break, the roots are "alot" stronger

I seem to remember seeing that you can buy a fake hair thingy that you put underneath your hair to give it lift. But that seems like just as much work as teasing it up. Can you just tease a little bit of it and then curl and comb the rest over the top and douse yourself in hairspray?

Please post a picture if you get it to work, it sounds so cute!

Cause the weather is just fining up enough to get my butt out there and check out the scene again

It's one night, teeze the bugger, spray it to bits, and post us a photo lol's.

i think it is bump-its, i have seen the padding too. guess i'll try ebay. some people have the false hair attached to a hair band for a look. i saw the b52s in concert last week and i have been feeling inspired to try something different that the ususal bloody pony tail, i always seem to wear. next year i am moving to the city, looking for work, etc i want to try to lift my image from the usual shorts etc that i wear now, especially when i go out. hot hair could be just the beggining! when i go to concerts or whatever my eyes are always drawn to the different types there. expect a lot more questions on how to get a new look for no dollars! promise if i accomplish it i will post lots of lovely pictures. just to make you wildly jealous CW i am seeing fleetwood mac tonight, and i have a spare ticket. if you were in perth you could come with!
