look up makeup tutorials on youtube!! there are sum rele good ones. sum are a bit too dramatic but u can tone it down a bit.
i like to put a colour in the inner corners and then blend it into black or dark brown at the outer corners. also u can try putting sticky tape from the outer edge of your eye on an angle towards your eyebrows, then apply eyeshadow. it will give u rele neat wings
i also like to put a medium brown all over my upper eyelid and then use a bright blue liner and eyeshadow and apply it underneath my eye. lol sorry its a bit hard to explain, but it looks rele good x

i like to put a brown or black eye liner on both top and bottom then slightly smudge. then i put a white or very pale colour shadow on my eye lids up to the base of my brow it highlights your eyes i then use a dark colour whether it is a brown black or dark purple etc on the outer parts of the lids heading into the middle of the lid then on the inside i blend a lighter colur sometimes i use a dark purple with a light purple or a brown with beige right now my favourite is a sparkly brown for the outer and gold for the inside i then top it of with black mascara.

I do my eyes similar when i go out in the evenings.
