Default what? no makeup? yup... that's right ladies!

I don't wear makeup, unless it's a special occasion. I think it's a hassle to do every day, and for what? To look pretty for other people? Maybe you wear it for yourself, but I find it a pain to deal with, and think I look just fine without it. I still get told that I'm pretty and guys still take an interest in me, with NO makeup. Here is my outlook: your natural look is the real you; makeup may make you look better (especially on those days you wake up and feel like (edit)), but it's not really YOU, it's the dolled-up version of you. I say, if people don't accept my looks for what they are, then screw them. They're just shallow. I'm not against those that wear makeup, most of my friends do, and my mom and sister do. It's just a personal choice, and just think how much money I'm saving by not having to buy the stuff!

What are your thoughts? If you wear makeup every day or you don't, tell us why. I'm just curious if anyone feels the same way I do.

I actually enjoy wearing makeup. There are days I'm too lazy and go without it, but most days I'm out doing something other than going to the store I wear it. I like it both for how it improves my appearance and also I just enjoy cosmetics in general. I love playing with different colors and trying out different looks. I don't do it so much to look pretty for other people. I have a boyfriend who I live with who I never wear makeup around unless we're going out, so it's not really to impress anyone. I just like having a dolled up look sometimes for myself plus I find it enjoyable to apply makeup.

That being said my mom NEVER wore makeup a day in her life. She sees no point in it and doesn't want to be bothered with it at all.

I think most women look better with little to no makeup. While makeup is supposed to supplement and enhance the natural beauty, more often than not it just covers up that natural beauty..

But that's just my opinion. Nothing against anyone who enjoys makeup.

I wear make up every day, I apply it for work, come home and re-apply before I see my b/f or go out anywhere. Sometimes I dont wear it, if I'm chilling at home or something and I'm not too bothered (so long as I dont have spots!) but I like wearing it, it makes me feel more confident

I wear makeup 2-5 times a year. I'm 31....every year I think about it and decide that if I start wearing it, I'll have to keep wearing it....not worth it for me. But last weekend I wore eye makeup and lipstick when going to an event... my bf's sister was so excited! LOL...she told me how pretty I looked....then she told me that she didn't want to offend me, and that I always look pretty...but that the makeup brought out my prettiness. Later she again tried to explain that she thinks I'm always pretty. It was hilarious!

I love makeup but also almost more because I love to put it on then I like that it does improve my appearance. I'm a very creative person and maybe that has something to do with it.
Don't get me wrong I can surely go without it. It's just a better day all around with it!

Some people's profession means that they have to wear some make-up.

Some people's colour tones, also means the same, or they are too wishy washy.

Personally, I love a "little" regardless of where I am, that being usually, lipstick and a bit of blush, no eye makeup, no foundation. And, often nude tones on my lips at that time...

I believe alot of men love women with little makeup, next to none. And, for special occasions, you have to highlight that dress in my opinion, it also makes you "feel" you've really dressed up.

A natural look, with our without makeup is sexy.

    In my opinion.

i very rarely wear make up as a day 2 day thing 4 the simple reason that i just dont like 2 because on the special occassions when make up is applied id look no different lol....maybe change of eyeshadow colour etc but i dont think its worth it since i look after 2 children and a house as my daily job...they dont care if ive make up on lol.
however when i worked i did wear a bare minimum of just a bit of foundation and maybe some mascara.
its all a personal thing if you wear it or not and 4 what reasons.
ive noticed when i pick the kids up at school on an afternoon alot of the mothers are heavily caked in make up...quite clown like tbh lol...but in the morning when the obvs didnt have time 2 apply any they actually look so much better!
less is more i guess in some peoples cases!

When I was in high school I would wear makeup but now I'm in my 20's and I rarely wear it. I do wear a clear complexion foundation so that it helps with the blemishes that I get but thats the only makeup I usually wear. No eyemakeup or nothing like that just foundation. When I go out with friends or my fiance I will put a little more makeup on like eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, blush and lip color. I like to keep my look more natural.
I’m just me and that’s all I can be; No more, no less, no second guess. I laugh, I love, I live, I cry and sometimes I wish that I would die. Some days I’m funny, other days I’m not; Some days I’m in overdrive and I can’t stop. You may not like me but that’s okay; This is me and this is how I’ll stay.
