Exclamation What happenned to my legs?

I dont have long, sleek legs... never have. But still not that long ago they were OK for a skirt.
I am only 8-10 pounds heavier than i was 8 years ago but now my legs are filled with cellulite (yak) and even dimples (double yak).

    An advice out there?

I have started exercising (jogging and some in-house programs), drinking more water, massaging/scrubbing my legs but still...:

Toning with exercise is the only thing that really puts a dent in losing cellulite that I'm aware of. There are super skinny people that still have the dimples, and many are just naturally thin, or diet... but don't work out much.

You've stated you've only recently started exercising ... give it some time, and be consistant with it. Can I ask your age? I ask because its easier for younger women to nip it in the bud than older woman... but older can as well.. it just requires a bit more work.

Skin loses its elasticity with age and doesn't bounce back as quickly but with hard work ANYONE is capable of making changes to their body reguardless of that.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.

Cellulite is just fat 'bubbles' under the skin. If you can do weight lifting twice a week or this should help. Also try pilates! that tones your muscles.

    Good luck!

Me too! Darn it! Havn short legs to begin with doesn't help, but agree w/ x-st & hd - exercise, both aerobic and resistance (weight-lifting, bands etc) and diet control are the only help. No spot reductions, potents or snake oils help at all, I'm sorry to say.
The 'diet control' piece is my weakness. Seems like every fat/sugary/salty thing I put in my mouth slides right down to my butt

There is no better way to get long beautiful legs than to workout and exercise. Of course, first of all you should try to loose some weight overall and especially around the thighs. If you have the chance to visit the gym every once in a while, don’t forget to spend some time of the treadmill, the cycling machine, the stepper and various leg muscles strengthening machines. It was meant for you to get those fine toned legs.
